it was like fun despite it being a simple dinner.. i truly believe in the whole ït's not the place or activity, it's the people"thing (:

uh i have to say one thing though, AHWEI dun be mad ): the gold chain on ahwei's neck makes him look REALLLY beng-ish haha, so try to ignore that part.. uh look at the good parts of his face like uh uh.... his nose! haha it's nice and straight.. oh oh and his eyes! they are like big and round (: hahaha

if you're wondering why we have so many group shots, it's cos lousy pple like baobao and ahwei kept blinking haha.. they have yet to master the art of photo-taking lol.. oh oh and nao's new hair colour was the catalyst for my dying of hair (: haha

i know what you're thinking, it went through my mind too.. EEW I HAVE JIAHUANG'S HEAD SWEAT ON MY HAIR!! yup, ): i had to endure that sigh..

so anyway, yes charlene, i watch perfect cut lol.. and i think that the script writers are a bunch of geniuses, wonder why they didn't hire me haha! i learnt this from the show:


to be the first one insinuates that it could be replaced, be topped off by another one day.. but to be the only one, that is different.. that means that it will never be replaced, that there is only one.. THE only one..


and often we say we wanna put God first in our lives.. i don't doubt that we try to and i don't doubt that He might be number one on some good days.. but that isn't enough, because how many times has He been replaced in the leaderboard?.. multiple uncountable times?.. yep, that's just it..


i want God to be my only one, to be at a level where He is irreplaceable, where He is my everything..

rain also makes me think of kirby.. cos he told me that he stares at windows panes whenever it rains and he will emo haha.. so romantic huh kirby, sigh i miss him so much..


university applications are driving everyone around me insane, some of that insanity has rubbed off on me.. haha, i need a break from this all.. im not even gonna apply for many scholarships anymore, makes me depressed when they ask me for extra-curricular activities and i can name none.. i really am just a nerd, nothing else ):

why cant they give out scholarships for free?.. why must there be strings attached?.. isn't it a reward in itself to be able to help someone in financial difficulty?... it's not like the person is stupid, the person is possibly really smart, all she needs is some money!!.. sheesh

hey people, pray for a scholarship ok? really... my parents are not going to be very able to pay for uni fees for me AND my sis..

you know what sucks a lot? having a song get stuck in your head for DAYS on end.. well, i was watching american idol the other night, ( DANNY I LOVE YOU!!) and kelly clarkson was performing her new single, " my life would suck without you"



uh, she gained a ton of weight and her singing ability kinda went ka-putt.. but i still like her i guess, what's not to like? she seems like a nice person haha.. and RESPECT for being the original american idol man.. back to the song.. it keeps playing over and over in my head!! i don't know what to do really haha..



so anyway, yups im back.. and yes darius, i have jetlag.. haha. i am wide awake and it's 4am in the morning.. HELP MEE!!



well, being in america really opened my eyes.. almost everyday that'd be some scary news report that would never appear in spore news.. be thankful for the safe environment we got you know!!



there was this shootout at south alabama or something.. 10 pple got shot and the shooter then got killed by the police.. then there was this day some shooter ran into a church and just shot the preacher that was on the pulpit.. WHAT?!? oh and then some woman got found out of killing her baby and they found the baby's bones in her backyard..



plus plus plus, the taxi fares are INSANE.. you gotta know how to drive here, or else you'd die.. like the taxi fare jumps by US$0.55 at a time! it's like a 20min journey = US$50! you gotta tip the driver somemore.. sheesh.. you gotta tip everybody here!! haha.. insanity..



in other words, i missed spore (: YAY IM BACK!! oh, but america has something that singaporeans will never have.. ( no lisa, im not talking about hot guys.. ) everyone in the service industry here are super polite and nice.. they smile and greet you everytime you walk into a store and then wish you a good day when you leave.. even though you bought NOTHING!



in spore, you'd be lucky if the salesperson didnt give you some sort of bad attitude, much less actually be nice to you.. tsk tsk tsk, we gotta learn to lighten up.. be cheery pple!! the guys working in disneyland are a pocket full of sunshine!! haha, they have to keep pretending to be all happy and smiley although i'll bet they were dying inside..



there was this one guy who was supposed to take us on a boat ride and jaws (the shark) would suddenly come and attack our boat.. well he was so over-the-top shocked and scared when jaws came.. he must have done this ride a million times, but each time he had to pretend to be all scared and tell us to duck etc.. HAHA he was hilarious..



"OH MY GOSH LOOK OUT!!" *knees start shaking*
"HELPP!! MAYDAY MAYDAY" ( shouts into fake radio thingy)" IT'S A SHARK OH GOSH!! WE"RE ALL GONNA DIE!!"



lol, he was a stumpy guy too.. short and on the plump side?.. he could totally be a comedy star, i'd watch him.. haha.. yeah anyway back to my point, he gave his all into that lame performance! tsk tsk, everyone in the service industry should learn to care more about the customers.. i'd kill to see a singaporean do what that guy did.. i think his name was bill, or mark or jake or something.. (: he made my day HAHA

i had a little chat with God the other day, which prompted me to delete that post lol.. he was harsh ): but i deserved it haha.. in the words of wise ol' leon: stop whining!

lol, right right right i was whining.. it was just everything rolled up into one big emotional ball.. the not being there with everyone, for everyone.. plus the whole family thing, which i am not going to divulge of cos... but uh yeah, im better i guess..

uh... im going to disneyland tmr? whoopee!..

i will upload pictures when i get the chance to, although uh i think i will only upload days 1-3.. cos, from then on, you can see a significant difference in face size/shape.. LOL

i cant believe i have to go back to work on tues, the day after i get back!.. for sure i'll have jetlag.. for the first few days after arriving in US, i did not sleep well at all cos it was supposed to be DAY!!

but after those consecutive days for sleepless nights (or days) the accumulated tiredness led to something scary..

i sleep with my super light sleeping sister ( i cough and she wakes!!) and she says i sleeptalk.. how scary is that!??! omg

the content of my dreams are open for all to see!! i mean hear!!

this really does scare me you know.. i must make sure i am well rested before sleeping over at lisa's.. it sounds too creepy..

i should sleep with tape over my mouth or something.. my sis says i speak in COMPLETE SENTENCES?! not even like brief words here and there.. :( i don't like this
