so anyway, it's new year's eve!! in a few hours, it'll be 2009!! can u imagine that?! i'm going to UNIVERSITY in a few months.. sigh, i feel old and rusty.. let me go get my back ointment.. did anyone see my walking stick??


wowee.. it's been a great year, a long and hard, but nonetheless great year!! let's recap the great things that has happened in this year shall we?..


(in no particular order)
#1: i got myself a great hangout crew!!

they consist of..... anathan the boorish caveman who is surprisingly intelligent at times!! ok, cannot be too mean, later he angry.. but but but, it has been great getting to know ana better, he is extremely fun to be with!! he is funny and does stupid things with u!! wheee

weiyan, the pantene shampoo ambassador!! his perfectly silky and shiny hair blowing in the wind is gorgeous to look at!! whoo!! it's like a snowglobe!! useless but nice to look at!! but hey, underneathe that lock of perfect hair is a brain.. dun be fooled by the retarded way he moves, he is a smart boy, ok, man, who is easy to share things to..

andyong, the silent killer.. wooooooo ( can u feel the wind change when u mention his name? ) haha, he only has one expression.. that glazed over look is his trademark! but if you try hard enough and succeed in making him laugh, his laughter is very contagious.. a sensitive guy, the kind that is very hard to find nowadays, so ladies step right up and join the queue!! everyone wants a piece of him!!

lisasa!! one of my favouritest person in the world!! thanks for the spongebob!! she's my turn-to for help in the (a) church/spiritual department, (b) clothes department, (c) weight losing department (ok this one she's not very effective in either) she is one of a kind!! so please guys, step right up to claim her too!! (haha.. )



#2: the small group multiplied!!

it's a big event ok!! i'm happy (: my hope is that the now smaller group will be able to really bond with each other and with God!! that is like my biggest wish right now.. (: *hint hint huh*



#3: i'm done with the structured education system!!

yep yep, though i felt like it was a wonderful thing when it was all just over, i kinda have to admit i miss it now.. i found myself actually itching to do holiday homework!!! AHHH!! i am such a nerd.. but kids, please treasure your studying years.. trust me, you'll want it back sooner than u think.. haha



#4: esther left

this ain't a great thing, but it deserves special mention.. over the years, she has been a big part in my life.. i rmb really disliking her at first cos she gave me HUGE trouble at her first yi camp.. (yes i still rmb... haha) i rmb growing from being annoyed at her constant phonecalls to anticipating it.. i rmb acting like a bimbo so i can communicate with her better (haha!! yes, it is all an act.. im an intelligent and independent young lady )

i haven't properly communicated with her since she left, my stupid msn has some glitches.. i miss her so so so much



#5: i gained weight (yes again)

i rmb starting this year being very close to the 40 something mark.. wad happened!?!!? sigh... i seem to be listing bad stuff now aren't i?.. hmm..



#6: i got myself good friends in NJ

my bestest best friend? michelle nah xin hui!! i lovee her.. she brings out the worst in me.. sigh, we actually tried to race each other on the tracks on the ground at cineleisure.. u know wad im talking about right?.. the coloured tracks on the ground.. yup, we raced each other in a CROWDED cineleisure.. haha!! i love her.. tog with zixin, charlene, amy DAnao.. i'm a happy nerd.. Nerd'sJuniorCollege!!



#7: i got a good progress award!!

haha, this is lame.. but this proves my point that i was a very horrible student in J1, no one believed me when i said i'm failing everything!! everyone thought i was being whiny and it's usual for an NJcian to fail.. boohoo, it's not true!! i only passed math and GP ok.. although i got A for chinese HAHA!!

so ya, i did much better in J2 and im being rewarded for it!! $200 bucks babeh!! psst.. those smart alecs out there who think they can fail at the beginning of the year then buck up and do well at the end of the year are idiots.. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!



ok, i'm running out of things to say.. before i end, i want to announce my new year's resolutions!! i have 3 very simple ones..

#1: i wanna lose weight!!

this has been on my list since the beginning of time.. and yes, i am aware that i have not achieved it for many many years,, but i am going to attempt again this year.. so wish me luck!! haha



#2: for the small group to really really grow in the Lord

not cos i asked them to, but cos they want to..



#3: earn lots of money while i can!!!

well, i'm on a many months break and i wanna be a tuition teacher.. so lemme advertise a little here k..

i can teach secondary school Amath, Emath, biology(pure), chemistry(pure) and english..

i charge a very reasonable price of about $25 an hour.. that is only $150 a month for 1.5hr lessons once a week, or $200 a month for 2hr lessons once a week.. i'll go to your house, so no hassle for u!!

i bet you are thinking, this is too good to be true!! but it is!! haha, i sound like i'll make a great salesperson.. but seriously, i need students.. so umm, if you're reading this and think you need help? pls call me.. also, if you know people who need help, call me too.. thank u!

i realised after reading one of my own posts in the previous skin, my eyes became all... flashy(?) after i looked away from the screen.. so i think a lighter skin would be better for everyone rite? i am such a considerate person!! wow, i amaze myself.. (:


so i've been too tired (or lazy, depending on how you see it) to blog about ANYTHING since forever.. and loads have happened la.. yi camp, christmas bash, retreat..... i am WORN OUT!! but i guess i'll blog a little.. gotta entertain my fans a little right?.. HAHAHA!!


it was my precious abi's birthday two days ago!! couldn't spend it with her, was at the retreat.. which was surprisingly fun! i have to admit that actually i didn't wanna go, couldn't get my lazy butt off the couch at home...


but im glad i went.. i got to spend more time with giana (whom i have drifted away from la.. ) i got to learn how to play the intense game called "bang!" (psst this game only for smart ppl lo.. dunno why weiyan keep playing... HAHAH!! joking la.. he's good at it..) i got to talk to weihao a lot more ( i have to sadly admit i missed that) i got to know a few more service 1 ppl (including weiwei!!)

yes she is.. i can laugh at her for hours.. she's in her own world, doing her crazy things all day.. the best thing? she loves high school musical songs!! i love hsm (:


so anyway i slept for about 6 hrs in two nights.. when i got home, i slept a total of 16 hours!! and here i am blogging (: my mind is still kinda a little blank.. i just blogged cos i heard the cry of abi, desiring for me to blog.. so i did.. (: self- sacrificial rite? i know i know.. i think i'm off to watch more mind-numbing tv now.. my fave past-time..


(stop mocking me!! im not the only person who spends christmas at home watching tv ok!! *sulk* no one ask me out wad... *sob sob* )

okok, im back by popular demand.. (yeah rite haha!) just a short post la hor.. since the time i have stopped blogging till now, i've had some great fun!! the bp gang outing was the best ever!! it's the first time i cycled in heavy rain!! and it's not gonna be the last time.. :) i caught a cold i think, but the feeling of cycling, speeding through empty pathways, with the rain beating down on you, laughing the throw-your-head-back kinda laugh throughout.. it was liberating


then there is the kinda failed but maybe it's a little successful small grp outing haha.. well, only mabel, esther, abi, varma, darius and me turned up.. varma and darius didn't even meet (it's complicated) so we didn't go settlers but hung out at westmall instead.. oh well, took a hoard of pictures!! (not my fave past time especially since i was feeling a little bloated, plus BALD SPOT!!)


ok so anyway, i finally decided to research on my strange ailment, i mean phobia.. the one of small clustered holes? well, turns out im not alone!! haha, it's official name is tryptophobia? something like that la, not good at spelling.. some pple even experience NAUSEA at the sight of the holes.. yup yup, i am totally normal!!


okok, maybe just a lil weird that my biggest fear is that of holes?! not heights, not cockraches or lizards etc.. oh oh!! the only thing that beats that is flying insects.. crawling ones? not a problem.. flying ones? oh my friggin goodness hide me please!!!


so anyway, i think nao passed her fear of birds to me? or not.. cos there's a SWALLOW nest near my house, swallow ok!! not sparrow or myna (the common ones we see) the black one, with a forked tail!! yep, it's super scary ok lemme tell u.. it swoops down LIGHTING fast, then changes direction sharply.. there's no predicting where it'll go!! every time i walk near the nest i'll crouch down and tiptoe away cos i scared the swallow will suddenly appear and crash into me or something.. sigh


ok, lemme end this really abruptly by saying that i think david cook's album kicks david archuleta's butt!! ok la, not really.. i love em both equally haha.. i think cook's best songs beat archuleta's best songs.. but overall, archuleta's better than cook's.. so, balanced la.. i think it'll take forever to stage an american idol season that beats their season la.. c'mon jordin spraks?? who's that?! haha, no la.. can't be so bad, must support christian artistes!!..
