notice the look on the faces of some of them as they sing, totally indulging in the melody.. child-like innocence, simply singing makes them so happy..


people ask me if i'm sure i wanna be a missionary after my studies.. after all it'd be common to think i'm pretty successful in terms of studies and all, why not move on to bigger and better things that could rake in the benjamins..


to these people i scoff at, for at the end of the day, what can money buy you?.. seeing those kids, even on lousy youtube mode, that's priceless.. those kids (they're from africa btw) know how happiness is derived from contentment.. for they have nothing, no monetary assets to their name.. but they are contented..


while at the other end of the spectrum, how many power and money hungry people out there are miserable, for there is never enough.. there isn't a limit to how much you can have and the chase of these things bring no sense of satisfaction..


i know that pursuing the things of God is all that matters and i will never let it go.. being able to interact with kids who are absolutely delightful to be around is just an added bonus haha.. i've had enough of the typical singaporean kids who are often seen throwing tantrums for not being able to get that toy they wanted..


over-indulgent brats.. go suck eggs
